The Italian Design Award went to Trambisera Marmi: ‘The exhibition design wins for its rational design, based on a ‘less is more’ approach and the use of highly sustainable and recycled materials. The coordinated image extends from the panels to all the communicative elements such as the catalogue, typography and colour scheme. The decision to suspend the partitions creates a seamless, inviting space that plays with the visual dialogue between inside and out. The lighting design is balanced and enhances the exhibits.

This year’s Trambisera Marmi stand presented at Marmomac 2022 is an invitation to reflect on new ways of understanding life and to reconsider our place in the world, a world where we are an integral part. The work of Trambisera is meant to be a eulogy to nature and man who reconnects with it. The company logo is a large temple for both contemplation and reflection. The exhibition is designed around this monolithic structure, a place where time is suspended and in its various forms, nature can speak. The latter, produced materially with our marbles, extract the very concept of the natural and invite an intimate and physical relationship with the artistic object.

Trambisera Marmi takes part in the 54th MARMOMAC in Verona with a stand resulting from their collaboration with the designer Emanuel Gargano. On the occasion of the event, the new brand and the new visual identity of the company created by the graphic design studio Due Collective is also revealed. Three “raw” marble columns were placed within this minimal setting, blending perfectly with the photographic works placed along the perimeter wall created by the Tuscan photographer Davide Dainelli.
Trambisera Marmi wins the 13th edition of the “Best Communicator Award” in the Stone/ITALY category:
“For having adhered to Michelangelo’s adage of ‘the power of removing’ in composing the stand with minimal and expressively powerful elements”
The designer Federica Biasi, photographer Marco Introini, exhibition designer Angelo Jelmini and journalist Michele Weiss were called upon, under the expert guidance of jury president Giorgio Tartaro, to judge the Marmomac 2019 edition stands. Two days dedicated to evaluating the self-nominations and visiting all twelve halls of the fair to complete the selection process and decide who best interpreted the concept of exhibit design.
